Ten Pines Farm is a family owned and operated organic and sustainable farm, we're focused on producing the most ethical, nutritious, and tasty food possible. We are not only dedicated to organic and best practices, but self sufficiency, land management and responsible use of water resources as well.
ETHICAL EGGS
We call our chicken coop our fertilizer factory, not only do these chickens lay eggs for us but provide nutrient rich composting material. That's why even in these hens old age we will love and care for them as we would any pet, regardless of slowing egg production.
OUR FARM, OUR SPROUTS.
It's hard to know how sprouts are cared for from commercial producers. Even certified organic could harbor pests, or worse, disease. We grow all of our plants from seed in our indoor nursery, along with wheatgrass for juicing and the chickens!
HAPPY HOUSING
We've built our pilot chicken coop to the same standards you would housing for a human baby. We fill it to 1/2 the capacity of standard poultry to give our hens plenty of room to play. When we use animals to our benefit we owe them respect and dignity.
